Midget AAA Trappers fall to Cubs

NEW LISKEARD, ON. - The North Bay Midget AAA Trappers built up a 3-1 first period lead but could not protect it as the New Liskeard Cubs battled back with 4 unanswered goals the rest of the way as Cubs edged the Trappers 5-3.

Anthony Trozzo, Scott Pawson and Kyle Baril scored for the Trappers in the loss.

Underage forward Brett Hargrave added 2 assists.

Spencer Wilson led the Cubs with 2 goals. Eric Pearson, Jake Ryan and Mitchell McCrank had the other goals for the Cubs.

The loss drops the Midget Trappers to 1-4 on the season. They are back in action Saturday as they take on the Kirkland Lake Legion 87's.
