Men's Slo Pitch heating up

After a slow and wet start to the men’s slo pitch league, action has been heating up as of late. In the ‘A’ division, the Blue Devils were the only team to pick up a pair of wins to remain tied for top spot with the North Bay Generals.
After a slow and wet start to the men’s slo pitch league, action has been heating up as of late.

In the ‘A’ division, the Blue Devils were the only team to pick up a pair of wins to remain tied for top spot with the North Bay Generals. The Generals also played two games this week, tying the two new teams in the top division: the Vipers and Mesco Moose. Paul Davis System split their games to sit third in the division 2 points behind the leaders.

In the ‘B’ loop Casey’s Crushers won 2 games to keep a top of the Middle division. One ofthewins was a hard fought 4 run victory over 2nd place Coldwell Bankers. The middle s three teams: Scotty’s Pirates, the Pool Doctors and Century 21/North Bay Property Shop.com all went 1-1 to remain close to the top.

The ‘C’ division featured a game of unbeaten teams. The Sporting Store won the battle against Ultimate Sportscard/Co-operators and are now all alone in top spot. The Mortgage Corp. also won both of their games to remain a slim 2 points behind the league leader. Mike Kelly’s Contracting, Dowdall Cabinets, the Blazers and PCL Construction all split their games proving that this is a very competitive division and anyone can win on any given night
