Majors hit double digits vs. Midget Trappers

TIMMINS, ON. - Eric Martineau and Nick Baril scored twice to lead the Timmins Majors to a 10-2 victory over the North Bay Midget AAA Trappers here on Sunday afternoon at the McInyre arena.

Mathieu Lefebvre, Ryan Wildman, Ryan Mercier, David Carrier, Eric Robichaud and Michael Fink did the other damage offensively for the Majors.

The Midget AAA Trappers, who broke a 10-game losing streak with a 7-4 win over Timmins on Saturday night, were led by Dylan Staples with two goals. Scott Pawson helped out with a pair of assists in the loss.

The Trappers are back home on Sunday, November 1st when they take on the Kirkland Lake Legion 87's. Game time is 1:20 p.m. at West Ferris arena.
