Meantime, up highway 63 the Jr. Trappers travel to Temiscaming to open their NOJHL season against the Royals. Game time is 8:00 p.m. at the Centre.
In Powassan, the Dragons open their regular season Friday night against the Minden Riverkings in Greater Metro Junior Hockey League play. Game time is 8:00 p.m. at the Powassan Sportsplex.
