The Nipissing Lakers men’s volleyball team is prepared to defend its 2006 Lakers Volleyball Classic Tournament title as they kick off the schedule Friday at 7:30 PM versus their cross-campus rivals the Canadore Panthers.
The six team tournament format will also feature Georgian, La Cite, Cambrian and Boreal.
The Lakers fresh off a solid tournament performance in Toronto will use this opportunity to fine tune their system as they enter the bulk of their first half regular season schedule in the next several weeks.
The Lakers will travel to Oakville and Toronto Nov 16/17 to face Sheridan and Humber while the home opener is slated for Nov 24/25 when Niagara and Mohawk come to town.
