The Temiscaming Royals inaugural season in the Greater Metro Junior 'A' hockey League came to an abrupt end on this snowy evening in Innisfil, as the Lakers completely dominated and ended up at the winning end of an 11-4 score over the visiting Royals and giving the Lakers a 4-2 series victory in the GMHL semifinal series.

Anton Holm and Jonathan Dew led the Lakers attack with 3 goals each.

Guillaume Brisbois, Alex Brazeau, Rylan Henley and Cory Marquardt replied for the Royals in the loss.

Matt Treadwell took the victory while Guillaume Piche and Francis Bernard shared the loss.

The Innisfil Lakers will now face the defending league champion Bradford Rattlers in the finals.
