Lady Lakers set to hit the court

Heading into the Women's National Volleyball Championships, Megan Stacey was named an all-Canadian for the fourth straight year, while head coach Marc LaRochelle was recognised for his outstanding coaching skills with the Coach of the Year award at the Press dinner Wednesday.

The Lady Lakers are set to hit the court for their first game at 11 p.m. tonight against last year’s bronze medal winners from Nanaimo.

Nipissing is ranked sixth heading into the competition.
