Jr Trappers sign Kascsak

The North Bay Junior ‘A’ Trappers are pleased to announce the signing of John-Paul Kascsak. The 6'0" 190 pound right winger comes from Springfield, Virginia where he played for the Walpole Express (Jr. B) last season.

This season Kascsak has registered 18 goals and 19 assists for 37 points in only 27 games with the San Antonio Diablos of the Western States Hockey League.

“Kascsak proved his offensive capabilities with his last two teams,” said Head Coach and General Manager Ian Swalucynski.

“We were looking to add some scoring and grit to the line up and Kascsak fits our style of play perfectly.”

Kascsak’s first game as a Junior ‘A’ Trapper will be this Saturday when the Trappers head to Blind River to battle the Beavers.
