The North Bay Junior ‘A’ Trappers braved the wind and snow to visit Our Lady of Fatima Thursday morning to serve students and faculty a special Christmas breakfast hosted by Brenda Chartrand or as she is known around school, “Grandma.”

Mario Chaput, Dan Frawley, Matt Weisensel, Stan Smrke, Brodie Barron and Morgan Rudiger served up a healthy and tasty holiday breakfast. After the service, the players got to enjoy the meal as well and had a chance to connect with students, faculty and of course “Grandma.”

In partnership with the Salvation Army, the Junior ‘A’ Trappers will be holding a food drive at our next home game on December 13th against the Abitibi Eskimos. The game will surely be action packed as the Junior ‘A’ Trappers are itching to get revenge on the Eskimos. Game time is at 7:00 p.m.

Thanks to Molson Canada, we have a very exciting prize for our fans that attend our game on December 13th. All fans will be given a ballot at the entrance for a chance to win a pair of Toronto Maple Leafs tickets for the game on Saturday January 9, 2010 at the Air Canada Centre against the Pittsburg Penguins. Looking for more ways to win? Donate non-perishable food items to the Salvation Army food drive and receive an extra ballot for every item you donate. Still want more chances to win? Purchase a program or a Junior ‘A’ Trappers souvenir and receive an extra ballot. The draw will take place at the beginning of the third period so make sure your ballots are in by that time.
