Jackson off to Canada Cup

Fourteen-year-old Thunderbird swimmer Jaydan Jackson will be competing in her first Senior National Meet November 27 to 29 in Etobicoke.
Fourteen-year-old Thunderbird swimmer Jaydan Jackson will be competing in her first Senior National Meet November 27 to 29 in Etobicoke. The Canada Cup is the first meet in series of 3 competitions held throughout the swimming year in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal. Over the years this exciting competition has hosted great swimmers such as Michael Phelps, Brent Hayden, Annamay Pierse and Canadian Olympic Bronze medalist Ryan Cochrane. This year Cochrane, veteran Brian Johns, Pierse, Olympic members Colin Russell, Lindsay Seeman ,Savahana King and Victoria Poon just to name a few.

Jackson is ranked 40th in the 100 and 200 backstroke hoping to improve her time and gain the valuable experience needed for these types of meets in the future. She will also race the 200 & 400 Individual Medley and the 400 freestyle.
