Elitehockey.net, located on Wallace Road, is holding a number of hockey clinics over the March Break. The sessions are as follows:

MONDAY, MARCH 16, 2009 - POWER SKATING

The POWER SKATING session will emphasize proper skating technique through muscle memory, allowing the players to get the most out of each stride. Proper knee bend, arm movement as well as the angle of the players spine will be discussed over the course of this session. Players will see dramatic improvement in a very short period of time.

TUESDAY, MARCH 17, 2009 - SHOOTING & STICKHANDLING

The Shooting and Stickhandling session will improve all players body mechanics involved in both of these skills. All players will benefit from becoming more knowledgeable in proper weight transfer as well as the proper motion required in releasing the puck with the most velocity and accuracy every time. On the ice, instruction will be directed towards shooting the puck while in stride.

THURSDAY, MARCH 19, 2009 - OVERSPEED SKATING

This session is a must for any player looking to get an edge over the competition. Speed and agility drills off the ice will translate to quicker feet and faster foot recovery on the ice. Once on the ice, players will be pushed to their limits while crossing over and transitioning from forward to backward as well as backward to forward. A tremendous 2 ½ hour session that will reap excellent rewards.

- OFF-ICE CONDITIONING 12:00 noon-1:00 PM
- WALK OVER TO PALANGIO ARENA 1:00-1:15
- ICE TIME AT PALANGIO ARENA 1:30-2:30 PM
- PICK-UP AT PETE PALANGIO AT 2:30 PM
- FULL EQUIPMENT REQUIRED FOR ON ICE SESSIONS
- GLOVES, SKATES, HELMET, RUNNING SHOES FOR OFF-ICE SESSIONS


COST

1 SESSION = $70.00
ANY 2 SESSIONS = $130.00
ALL 3 SESSIONS = $180.00
