EliteHockey.net helps Kidsport

Kidsport chair Dave Mendicino, EliteHockey.net's Ron Gravelle, and M & M Meat Shops owner Mark Kosturik (left to right) hold up the $400.00 cheque which will go to the local Kidsport program.

The money was raised through a Charity Barbeque which was part of the Grand Opening for EliteHockey.net on Saturday, August 16th.

More than 300 people packed into Northern Ontario's largest indoor hockey facility located on Wallace Road in North Bay.

Aside from the Charity Barbeque, the grand opening included autograph sessions with current local NHLers Craig Rivet and Shean Donovan, former NHLers Darren Turcotte and Steve McLaren, and soon to be NHLer; Boston Bruins prospect Matt Marquardt.

Particpants also got an opportunity to skate or shoot on the synthetic ice.
