Cats over Barons; Widdifield triple crown dreams alive

Stephan Hosein scored twice to lead the Widdifield Wildcats to a convincing 5-1 victory over the Algonquin Barons in the deciding game of the best-of-three NDA semifinals at Memorial Gardens Monday night.

Peter Easton, Brad Prescott, and Brett Bethune scored the other goals.

Aaron Kennedy scored the lone goal for the Barons who opened up a 1-0 series lead before losing the final two games of the semifinals.

The Wildcats - looking for their first ever triple crown - will take on the West Ferris Trojans in the NDA final.
