Bob Tulloch, Area Director of College Prospects of America, is pleased to announce that Dominique Bouchard, a Grade 12 student at E.S. Algonquin, has signed a ‘National Letter of Intent’ to swim at the University of Missouri, located in Columbia, Missouri. Dominique, who plans to study Pre-medicine at the NCAA Division 1 institution, will head to the mid-west in August 2009 to swim for the Tigers, who compete in the Big 12 Conference. The five-foot nine-inch swimmer has been consistently in the top rankings nationally as a backstroke specialist. With the assistance of College Prospects of America, Dominique, the daughter of Yvan and Marise Bouchard of North Bay, has been heavily recruited during the past few months and she made her final decision recently by agreeing to a full scholarship offer. Dominique credits her coach, Dr. Cliff Noth, of the North Bay Y Titans for helping her reach this next level of swimming.
