Bond joins Pro Hockey

TORONTO, ON.
TORONTO, ON. - Dylan Bond has completed successfully the Pro Hockey summer camp in Toronto this past week and has been invited to play for the Pro Hockey spring team next spring in Toronto which includes the Brick tournament that North Bay's Brady Lyle competed in earlier this month and lost in the tournament final to Team Alberta.

Dylan has played the past two seasons with the East Nipissing Vipers and won a Silver Stick as well this past winter with the club.

Randy Edmonds - who started summer hockey through the Eurocamp Summer Stars program - helped Bond get the opportunity.

"It is enjoying to see one of my players have so much success with some of the best players in the province and they loved the way he played and moved the puck at such a young age," said Edmonds.

"It shows us that our Eurocamp summer program is working when these kids get such opportunities."

Edmonds adds that Pro Hockey staff will have a watchful eye on the Eurocamp Summer Stars team when they compete in the Canada's Wonderland Tournament on August 21st to see if other locals would be viable for his Brick team.

Pro Hockey is only one of two teams in Ontario that compete in the Brick tournament which takes place annually in Edmonton, Alberta.
