Blades sweep Wolves in Sudbury

The North Bay Hilltop Variety Bantam AAA Blades nearly solidified a second place finish in the Northern Ontario Bantam AAA league after sweeping the third place Sudbury Wolves in three games over the weekend.
The North Bay Hilltop Variety Bantam AAA Blades nearly solidified a second place finish in the Northern Ontario Bantam AAA league after sweeping the third place Sudbury Wolves in three games over the weekend.

The Blades opened up with a close 5-4 win Saturday afternoon at Carmichael arena. On Saturday night the Blades pulled out another one-goal victory with a 3-2 win.

On Sunday the Blades completed the sweep of the Wolves with a 5-3 win.

The victory gives the second place Blades a 7 point lead over Sudbury.
