Blades blank Cambridge in Big Nickel opener

The North Bay Bantam 'AAA' Hilltop Variety Blades used four different scorers and Dustin Hummel stopped every shot he faced as the Blades defeated the Cambridge Hawks 4-0 in their opening game at the Big Nickel Tournament in Sudbury on Thursday.
The North Bay Bantam 'AAA' Hilltop Variety Blades used four different scorers and Dustin Hummel stopped every shot he faced as the Blades defeated the Cambridge Hawks 4-0 in their opening game at the Big Nickel Tournament in Sudbury on Thursday.

Kyle Baril, Kieran Peltier, Martin Strasbourg and Mike Mason scored for the Blades who did all their scoring in the 3rd period.

The Blades next game is at 11:00 a.m. Friday morning as they take on the Markham Waxers and then their back on the ice to face-off against the Oshawa Bantams at 5:00 p.m. Friday afternoon.
