The Algonquin Barons senior girls basketball team won the 18th annual Sister Fay Tournament of Excellence hosted by O’Gorman High School in Timmins on the weekend by downing the Lo-Ellen Park Knights from Sudbury 32-23 in the Finals.
Jolinne Maisonneuve led the way for the Barons with 16 points, while Daphne Reynolds and Alisha Perron chipped
in with 8 and 5 points each respectively.
