Bantam AAA Trappers winless at Toronto Red Wings Tourney

TORONTO, ON – The West Ferris Hilltop Variety Bantam AAA Trappers competed in the Toronto Red Wings Early Bird Tournament this past weekend.
TORONTO, ON – The West Ferris Hilltop Variety Bantam AAA Trappers competed in the Toronto Red Wings Early Bird Tournament this past weekend. The Trappers opened with a 5-1 loss to the Brampton Battalion and dropped a 6-1 decision to the Kingston Frontenacs to wrap up Friday’s action. On Saturday the Pittsburgh Penguins Elite outscored the Trappers 7-1. In their final round robin game the Trappers came up short to the Cambridge Hawks losing 4-1.

Trappers’ goals came off the sticks of Tyler Peters, Steven Leveque, Jordan Sullivan and Aaron Dart. Marc Audet and Cole Leon shared the goaltending duties.

The Trappers will play host to this year’s NOBHL Bantam AAA League Showcase tournament. Action gets underway on Friday, September 17 and continues through Sunday, September 19.
