In Friday’s second contest the Blades lost to NOBHL foes Timmins Eagles 6-3. Scoring for the Blades were Steven Leveque, Jake Staples and Matt Salter.

Grey-Bruce Highlanders handed the Blades their third loss holding a 1-0 lead with under three minutes to play. Three power play goals in less than 90 seconds gave the Highlanders a 4-0 win.
