On the deadine day to sign unsigned free agents, the Temiscaming Royals are pleased to announce the signing of forward Tristan Awashish.
Tristan, 21 years old, is a power forward 6'4", 210 pounds from Waswanipi, Quebec.
The invite to the Bai-Comeau Drakkar's QMJHL camp last summer, elected to play closer to home and has been playing Senior Hockey this season in Northern Quebec.
Awashish played 2 years with the Cree Nation Bears of the Norbord Midget AA league. This is the same team that Clayton Happyjack, Darren Shecapio and Rylan Gull-Chum all played for in the last 2-3 years.
The Royals welcome Tristan to the team and to our community.
