Alouettes shutout Kings

The Nipissing Alouettes got back on the winning track on Friday night hammering the visiting Espanola Kings 14-0 at the Sturgeon Falls Arena. Jordan Presseault and Dan Madigan led the way as each collected four goals on the night.

Jordan Presseault and Dan Madigan led the way as each collected four goals on the night. Justin Huycke added three while André Leclair added two. Robin Mendelsohn added a single. Leclair also chipped in with six assists while Paul Traynor added four. Matt Perry picked up the win and the shutout in goal making 29 saves. Ricky Rice took the loss as he faced 70 shots on the night.

The Als now get ready to close our their home schedule next weekend as they host the Minden River Kings on Friday night and the Deseronto Storm on Sunday night. Start time for both games is 8pm.
