The Nipissing Alouettes put up a total team effort into Tuesday night's game 4 against the Elliot Lake Bobcats and it paid off as the Als came away with a convincing 5-2 victory to stave off elimination in the best-of-seven first round Greater Metro
The Nipissing Alouettes put up a total team effort into Tuesday night's game 4 against the Elliot Lake Bobcats and it paid off as the Als came away with a convincing 5-2 victory to stave off elimination in the best-of-seven first round Greater Metro Junior Hockey League series.

Sébany Guimond led the Als attack with two goals on the night. Kory Cashaback, Travis Kivimaki and Paul Traynor each added singles. Cashaback, Kivimaki and Traynor also added two helpers each.

Pat Beaudry was solid in goal making 24 stops for the win. The Als now head to Elliot Lake for game 5 on Thursday night. If necessary, game 6 will go on Friday night at the Sturgeon Falls Arena.
