The Nipissing Alouettes won their third straight game and their 7th in the last 8 games working their way to a 7-3 win over the King City Wild on Friday night at the Sturgeon Falls Arena.

The Als opened up a 3-0 third period lead before the Wild cut the margin by scoring two quick goals but the Als offense proved to be too much as they scored 4 times in the last 11 minutes of the third period. André Leclair scored twice while Jordan Presseault, Matt Thompson, Robin Mendelsohn and Arthur Ketchedjian also found the back of the net. Dan Madigan added three helpers while Leclair and Jean Benoit had two each. Steve Wicklum, Brendan Farrugia and Marc Fortin had the Wild goals.

Pat Beaudry picked up his 10th win in goal stopping 25 shots. Kyle Parker suffered the loss making 31 saves. The Als now hit the road on Saturday as they visit the 77's in Oro-Medonte before hosting the league leading South Muskoka Shield on Sunday night at the Sturgeon Falls Arena. Game time is 8pm.
