2008 - A Year in Sports Photos

Winter Wonderland! Atlanta Jr. Thrashers player Alex Ayers experiences snow for the first time ever as he pushes a sweeper prior to the start of the Canadian Pond Hockey Face-off last February.

Ayers was one of three players from Atlanta that had an all-expense paid vacation to try out pond hockey for the very first time as part of the Canadian Pond Hockey Face-Off's outreach program.
