AREA RESIDENTS HELP OUT OUR SNOW REMOVERS

North Bay, Mattawa and Powassan OPP would like to remind area residents to be patient with your township and area snow removers. They are ensuring your safe arrival to your destination by plowing and/or spreading sand or salt on area roadways.

Snowplows and salt or sand spreaders must travel at speeds considerably slower than the maximum speeds posted on township roadways. Please use patience and stay well back from these vehicles. Township crews are working extra hard during the winter to clear ice and snow in our area. As it may take a little longer to clear your neighborhood road, plan your traveling accordingly to ensure your safe arrival. Keep your speed down and stay in control.
