On Aug. 23, 2017 at 7:53 a.m. members of the North Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were advised of a collision on Highway 11 in the City of North Bay. The collision occurred in the construction zone and four vehicles were involved.
Preliminary information received is that the north bound pickup truck hit a small car, which was then pushed into an SUV causing the SUV to rollover and hit a second SUV. Minor injuries were reported in the collision and two drivers were transported to hospital as a precaution.
The highway was closed for just over an hour while debris and vehicles were removed. The highway was re-opened at 9 a.m.
At this time the investigation is still ongoing.
