The North Bay detachment of the O.P.P. reports a very quiet twenty-four hour period with nothing
O.P.P. OFFICER ARRESTED FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT
The O.P.P. arrested and charged one of their own in New Liskeard on Friday night. Michael Potter, age 27, has been charged with two counts of Criminal Harassment and one count of Sexual Assault.
A 21-year-old female who was known Potter filed a complaint of stalking and sexual assault on October 4th and an investigation commenced immediately. Potter has been a constable with the O.P.P. for three years. He has been suspended from duty pending the outcome of the case.
