MALE CHARGED WITH IMPAIRED OPERATION OF A MOTORIZED SNOW VEHICLE

(Bonfield, On) In the early hours of Sunday February 15th, 2004, North Bay OPP checked a male on Mark Street in Bonfield who was about to drive off on his snow machine. The party had been consuming alcohol.
28 year-old Allan Tessier of Bonfield was arrested and charged with Impaired Driving and Drive Motor Vehicle with over 80mgs. He is to appear in court at the North Bay Ontario Court of Justice at 360 Plouffe St., North Bay, Ontario on March 9th, 2004.
The North Bay OPP would like to advise motorized snow vehicle operators that the same drinking and driving laws apply to snow machines as they do for vehicles on a highway.
Please don’t drink and drive your motorized snow vehicle.
