WEEKEND R.I.D.E STATS
One Driver Charged With Impaired

(North Bay, On)
During this past weekend (Dec 19 – Dec 21, 2003), North Bay, Mattawa, and Powassan OPP conducted the Festive R.I.D.E. Initiative. 1679 vehicles were stopped over the weekend.

OPP officers issued six 12-hour suspensions, one administrative driver’s licence suspensions (ADLS) was issued as one driver was charged with impaired driving during this period. There were seven collisions throughout the area; five of those were personal injury collisions in which nine people were injured.
