SERIOUS INJURY IN HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT The North Bay detachment of the O.P.P. reports a fairly quiet holiday so far although there was a hit and run accident near Elk Lake, about 45 minutes north of North Bay.

SERIOUS INJURY IN HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT
The North Bay detachment of the O.P.P. reports a fairly quiet holiday so far although there was a hit and run accident near Elk Lake, about 45 minutes north of North Bay.

Details of the accident, that occurred early this morning, are still sketchy. Police have said that two people were injured. One was taken to hospital in North Bay while the other was flown to Sunnybrook in Toronto.

Police apprehended the hit-and-run driver. No names have been released as yet.
