LAS VEGAS (AP) — Paul Cotter and Jonas Rondbjerg each scored his first NHL goal and the Vegas Golden Knights beat the Minnesota Wild 3-2 on Thursday night. The Golden Knights improved to 7-2-0 since Oct. 26 after opening the season 1-4-0.

BOSTON (AP) — Leon Draisaitl had two goals and an assist, moving ahead of teammate Connor McDavid into the NHL scoring lead and leading the Edmonton Oilers to a 5-3 victory over the Boston Bruins on Thursday night.

SEATTLE (AP) — Troy Terry extended his NHL-leading scoring streak to 13 games with two goals and an assist, and the Anaheim Ducks beat the Seattle Kraken 7-4 on Thursday night.

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Matt Duchene scored his second goal of the game 2:01 into overtime, giving the Nashville Predators a 4-3 victory over the St. Louis Blues on Thursday night. Duchene's wrist shot beat goalie Jordan Binnington on the short side.

DENVER (AP) — Valeri Nichushkin scored in his return from injury, Mikko Rantanen had a goal and two assists and the Colorado Avalanche overcame the absence of star center Nathan MacKinnon to rout the Vancouver Canucks 7-1 on Thursday night.

WINNIPEG — Nate Schmidt had a couple of special people watch him score his first goal as a member of the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday night.

Montreal's Nick Suzuki was denied on a creative scoring opportunity early in the Canadiens' 4-2 win over Calgary on Thursday night. He tried the same move on Flames goalie Jacob Markstrom later in the game and it proved to be the game-winner.
