On Tuesday May 30, at approximately 9:30 am members of the Muskoka Community Street Crime Unit along with Huntsville detachment members, Emergency Response Team and the Orillia Community Street Crime Unit executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a business on Crescent Road in Huntsville.
Police did not name the business involved.
Responding from a tip from the public regarding the indoor cultivation of cannabis marijuana the members executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant.
"During the execution of the warrant police located and seized Marijuana plants, dried cannabis marijuana, paraphernalia associated with the production of cannabis marijuana and documentation identifying those responsible," said a news release.
The Muskoka Community Street Crime Unit continues to investigate this occurrence. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Huntsville OPP or Crime Stoppers.
