Muskoka, June 24, 2015 - The premier gourmet food and wine event of the season, Flavours of Muskoka Chautauqua and silent auction will take place at the JW Marriott The Rosseau Muskoka Resort & Spa on June 28th, 2015 from 6-9pm. The money raised has contributed over $250,000 to help make a difference for children in the regions community.
Flavours, called an "amazing grace," is a highly anticipated event in Muskoka, with over 300 people attending every year. A silent auction provides a chance to bid on creations of local artisans, or priceless items, such as, two pairs of boxing gloves, one signed by Muhsmmed Ali and the other Bernie Boom Boom Mancini, just to name a few! Taking place at the beginning of the busy summer season, it offers a unique opportunity for businesses to raise their profile in this lucrative market. It is a prestigious and extravagant gala event attended by cottagers and business, social and community leaders - a great venue in which to showcase your products.
As the main fundraiser for Kaleidoscope Arts in Education Programs, it is an important event for Muskoka Chautauqua. Kaleidoscope is an innovative program that links professional artists with teachers and students in Muskoka.
