A North Bay company, Plan A Health Care Staffing Solutions, is expanding to Barrie.
Plan A is a long term care staffing agency.
It has been providing immediate and short-term health care staffing solutions to the long term care facilities in North Bay and area since December 2016. RNs, RPNs and PSWs fill staff vacancies across Northeastern Ontario understaffed facilities, and provide safer care for vulnerable residents.
Due to the success of North Bay’s branch it was requested in Barrie. Together the new entrepreneurs, Sarah and Rachael Hargan have taken on the challenge of servicing the Southern region from their newest office; Plan A Simcoe, which launched in May.
Sarah Hargan, RN and co-owner is excited by their local impact, stating “Since Plan A Nipissing began operating in December 2016, we have successfully filled 358 shifts, this translates into more than 3,000 hours of patient care that wouldn’t have been provided without Plan A in the North Bay community.”
Rachael adds, “Being able to move into Barrie and do the same thing for seniors there is such a great feeling. We are so proud of how our staff in both locations have embraced the Plan A vision - we want the best for local seniors.
“Picking up a few extra shifts with Plan A can bolster your income significantly, while also being a solution for local long term care facilities in need”.
