OPP investigate stabbing

Huntsville, ON - On Saturday August 12th just before 9 p.m. Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with EMS were notified of a stabbing at an apartment in Huntsville's downtown core. 

Members attended the residence and located a 39-year-old local male that had been stabbed several times. He was treated at the scene by EMS and transported to a local hospital then to a Toronto area hospital by ORNGE. 

His injuries are believed to be non-life threatening at the time of the incident.

Huntsville OPP, Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Muskoka Crime Unit assisted in the initial investigation. Central Region Forensic Identification Services (FIS) and the Muskoka Crime Unit remain at the scene to continue the investigation.
