On January 20, at 1:40 a.m., North Bay OPP officers were conducting traffic enforcement on Highway 11, in East Ferris, when a vehicle approached at a high rate of speed.
Officers initiated a traffic stop and conducted an investigation. As a result, Onofrio Di Pisa, 49, of Montreal, was arrested and charged with:
- Driving a Motor Vehicle with Open Container of Liquor
- Speeding and
- Fail to Comply with Recognizance.
The accused was released on a Recognizance of Bail to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in North Bay on January 30.
