The Renfrew Detachment of the OPP assisted with the 3rd Annual Drive-thru Family Food and Toy Giveaway on December 18.
Police assisted numerous community members at the Mat-te-Way Activity Centre to help those in need.
"Hundreds of cars lined up to benefit from the generosity on Sunday evening," says Constable Brianna Roberge. "Bags filled with turkeys, fixings, toys, and, gifts were handed out.
"Over 850 people benefited from the incredible event. Everyone who came to the event left with a big smile and a warm heart."
