Canine Unit tracks snack bar thieves

On June 2, just before 1 a.m. Huntsville OPP responded to an alarm at the snack bar between the baseball diamonds at McCulley-Robertson Sports Complex. Police arrived and confirmed a break and enter into the building.  

A substantial amount of snacks and beverages had been stolen.

Officers patrolled the area looking for the culprits but without success. 

The Muskoka Canine and Emergency Response Team was called and as a result of their efforts three males were arrested for theft in relation to the break and enter. 

Two 16-year-olds and one17-year-oldd have been charged with "Break, Enter and Theft" under $5,000. 

The three cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. They will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Huntsville on July 4, to answer to their charges.
