On Friday January 19, at approximately 11 a.m. the Almaguin Highlands OPP received a report of a possible impaired driver on Ontario Street in Burk's Falls.
OPP patrolled the village and located the vehicle on Commercial Drive.
Officers spoke to the driver and subsequently arrested and charged the driver, Allen Korhonen, 62 of Burk's Falls with Driving with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol.
The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on Thursday, February 22, in Sundridge.
