Quebec man charged in fatal 17 accident

A 41-year-old Quebec man has been charged in connection with a multi-vehicle collision last month on Hwy 17 which left one person dead. The collision took place Jan. 2 west of North Bay, near Beaucage Rd.

A 25-year-old Cornwall man has been charged by the North Bay Police Service after allegedly hitting another man with a hammer. The incident took place early Saturday morning when the man was struck in the head and body with the tool.
