Dr. Rod Johnston has purchased the North Bay Hydro building. Johnston, the chairman of Community Waterfront Friends, paid $1.1 million for the Fisher Street building after touring it during the last few weeks.

(Trout Creek) An accident Sunday on Highway 522 west of Trout Creek has left a 53-year-old Sundridge man dead. William Henry Smith was driving his 1997 Chevrolet pick-up truck east bound on the highway around 7 p.m.

Man charged in stabbing
A North Bay man has been charged following a stabbing Saturday on Cassells Street. The North Bay Police Service says a man in his late twenties was stabbed in the 2000 block area of Cassells Street between 11:30 a.m. and 12:40 p.m.
