An order from the Education Ministry would likely be needed to rescind a $725,000 tax bill slapped on the Near North District School Board, trustees heard Tuesday night.

The public is invited to visit the site of the new North Bay Regional Health Centre this Sunday, Nov. 28, between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Warm clothes are recommended.

A residence fire at 11:20 this morning was quickly doused, with no injuries and minimal damage. The fire broke out in the laundry room of a College Drive residence shared by Nipissing University and Canadore College students.
