The city advises that Riverbend Rd. between Lakeshore Dr. and Decaire Rd. will be closed until 4 p.m. The roads department is doing ditching and culvert work. Buses will be allowed through.

A North Bay firefighter has died from injuries suffered after a motorcycle accident August 7th. OPP report that the driver of the motorcycle, Thor (Raymond) DAVIS, age 45, of North Bay succumbed to his injuries today at a Sudbury area hospital.

Members of the Temiskaming Detachment OPP are investigating a single fatal motor vehicle collision involving a Hyundai Sonata which occurred at approximately 12:03 yesterday afternoon. The collision occurred on Highway 11, in Strathcona Township.
