On the 24th of Oct. during daytime hours thieves cut locks to 3 bicycles at Algonquin Secondary School and brought them home to dismantle them.
The value of the bikes was $4700.
Cst. Asselin of the School Liaison Unit of our Service attended a residence within the city, along with back up.
At this time it is alleged that the bikes had already been dismantled.
A 16 years old male youth is charged with Theft Under, Possession of Stolen Property Under and Breach of an Undertaking. He remains in custody for a bail hearing.
A 14 year old male youth is also charged with Theft Under and Possession of Stolen Property Under and is to appear in court on the5th of Dec.
