The 2016 OPP Community Satisfaction Survey results are now available and reveal that more than 98 per cent of respondents feel ‘very safe’ or ‘safe’ in their communities. Ninety-six per cent feel ‘very satisfied’ or ‘satisfied’ with the overall quality of services provided by the OPP.

Earlier this year, 1,000 citizens from across the province were randomly selected and asked to participate in a survey to measure public opinion about the services delivered by the OPP.

The full results of the 2016 survey are available, in English and French, on the OPP website at www.opp.ca.

Those who participated in the survey were asked about issues such as highway safety, traffic enforcement, contact with the OPP, service delivery and even how the OPP investigates crime.

The survey is conducted annually to measure public opinion in communities throughout the province.

The next provincial survey is scheduled to begin in January 2017.
