Mattawa Voyageur Days is pleased to announce the signing of DOC WALKER, DAVID WILCOX, BARNEY BENTAL & THE LEGENDARY HEARTS AND ROUGH TRADE for the 2010 Mattawa Voyageur Days festival. "The Committee is extremely pleased to make this announcement so early and prior to Christmas so that those wishing to attend can purchase their wristbands as possible Christmas Gifts" says Jacques Begin Co-Chair Mattawa Voyageur Days. "And there will be more concert announcements in the near future as negotiations are coming along extremely well with a number of other major acts". Wristbands are now on sale at area Caisse Populaire and Scotiabanks. They are also available at the Mattawa Travel Information Centre 744 0222.

"Weekend wristbands make for great stocking stuffers and Christmas Gifts" says Jacques Begin Co-Chair Mattawa Voyageur Days. "The Committee is also working diligently on what will be just an incredible music line-up and total festival package".

Mattawa Voyageur Days is also pleased to announce a positive financial position for 2009 thus permitting some new capital investments in infrastructure. This was despite the rainstorms hit off an on all weekend long. "Those attending were real troopers and did not leave the concerts even through some steady rain. This is a sign that Voyageur Days is indeed a blast" say Lucie Desrochers Co-Chair. Attendance numbers were only very slightly down at less than 1%. Mattawa Voyageur Days Committee certainly thanks and recognizes all those who came out and supported their festival.

Mattawa Voyageur Days dates are July 22 - 25, 2010.
