Hwy 63 just west of Fish Hatchery Rd., about 5 km north o Balsam Creek is down to one lane this morning after a sinkhole appeared. The sink hole was in the northbound lane. Bruman Construction began to fill the hole around 8:45 this morning.

OPP have closed the East Bound lane of Hwy 63 as a result of a threat to public safety caused by the sink hole developing in the eastbound lane of Hwy 63.

There is no detour but alternating traffic is moving through the area at this time.

Estimated duration of the lane closure is unknown, but it appears it will be open later today.

The O.P.P. will distribute details and updates of the road advisory as information becomes available.
