Two local men cycling to Toronto Reminder

On August 18th, 19-year-old Jonathon Strang and his friend Alex Milne are taking off from the Bay to Toronto in support of the Alzheimer Society.

They duo have decided to cycle to south and will depart from the Euphoria Smoothies on Lakeshore Drive at 8:30 am with the aim of reaching Toronto on August 20th, 2008.

Strang, who lost his grandfather to the disease a short time ago, has the goal to raise $30,000 ($15,000 each) in support of the local Alzheimer Society and has earmarked any funds above the goal, be directed to Alzheimer Research.

Strang and Milne have also pledged to run up the stairs at the CN Tower at the end of the trek if they reach their fundraising goal.
