Powassan has attracted a couple of American TV stars to its motorcycle rally on the Canada Day Weekend.

Ryan Evans and Shannon Aikau from the Counts Kustoms hit tv show Counting Cars will be guest captains for the Wheels of Hope motorcycle ride and attend a dinner meet greet. The ride will feature a stop at the North Bay Hospital to meet patients and staff to see the efforts and results of those involved.

Count's Kustoms, is a one of a kind hot rod and chopper customization/restoration shop located in the heart of Las Vegas and owned by Danny “Count” Koker.

The three day motorcycle rally will feature live performers, live music, arts and entertainment, with onsite camping.

The focus will be on raising much needed funds for The North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation Cancer Programs

"We hope to engage the surrounding communities in our efforts to support this cause as well as the entire Motorcycle community from near and far," says spokesman Don Smith. "This is a family friendly event featuring all aspects of the motorcycling industry and motorcycling enthusiasts, be it solo riders or groups and organizations involved. The event will bring a greater awareness to this industry while at the same time helping and supporting those in need."
